You wander through the desert and approach wide flat rock. Needing a rest, you settle down. Something yelped from behind the rock and you stumble back. A yellow head pokedo ut and gave you a half-grin.
"Oh!" she exclaims, "a traveller! How unexpected!"
You nod and just watch the creature. The yellow equine stood and streached. Her leaf necklace dangled in the wind and her blue mane flutters in the wind.
"Well, greetings traveller. I am Li'avane, first karina to inhabit this realm. There is also another of my kind here, but I can't seem to find him. Anyway, if you wish to learn more about my kind, you can go to Sabaku Desert," Li'avane smiled, "prehaps you can go find my missing companion..."
Li'avane wandered off.

You wander from the place you met Li'avane. Soon, you came to oasis. A white stallion reared, his multi-coloured mane and lion tail swinging wildly in the air. It seemed to be dark around him and stars pranced near him. You rub your eyes and the stallion stood there, looking perfectly normal. No stars, no nothing. You walk over and nod your head.
"Hello," you greeted the stallion.
"Hey," he chirps carefully, "I'm Sa'lit." And with that, he prances off. You stood there, watching after him for awhile.
