A large meadow stretched out in all directions. A small hole is in the middle of the field, and a small rabbit-like head peeked out. All silver, the creature hauled itself out of the burrow, scratching absently at the lush green grass beside the denn. He settles down, one ear flicked up lazily, the other lying flat against his skull as he took a quick look around. Spotting you, he growls slightly. You back away a little, as he calls out, "Stranger."

You turn to look at the creature, and he picks himself up after seeing you won't go near him. He pads towards you, nodding, "Hello. I'm Skyleaper, a Kartyn'dryrso."

"Er, hello."

He pauses, and turns, walking away, and prodding a paw in his denn. Once he pulled it away, a head instantly popped up. It was another one. White, female, with a bluish tinge. The little rabbit like animal glared up at him, "What?"

"Get the rest up here, Cloud," he ignored the obviously rude 'what'.

The head disappeared, muttering, and pops up again. She climbs out, shaking clumps of dirt off her white fur. She was obviously smaller than the Skyleaper, with a little bracelet around her paw. The dryrso eyed you carefully, before speaking. "Greetings. I'm Cloudkeeper."

As soon as she was finished, she was gone, back down into the denn. Skyleaper shook his head, and you waited. Another head appeared, and the body followed. It was another white one, with the same black band around her paw, and a feather earing on her catlike ears. She nodded at you, eyes gentle, "Forgive my daughter. She's not nearly that rude all the time. I am Snowdreamer."

More appear behind her, and you begin to wonder how many there are back there. You count as they appear. Three tannish-brown ones, and another white one. Seven in all. The last white one, nodded, eyes mysterious. The tannish-brown ones were huddled together--obviously a family. They introduce themselves one by one. The white one was called Starhope. The family, Starstander, Sunstepper, and Fire, respectively.

Just when you thought you've seen them all, another white one pads into the clearing. She sniffs curiously around your legs, and wags her tail. A bandage was wrapped around her leg.

"Heartsong," she murmurs at your questioning look, and then pads away just as quietly and quickly as she came.
