You wander around a nice looking sorta meadow-clearing thing. Bushes grew along the edge, and into the meadowish place, and trees scattered all around the place. It was like any other clearing, but in this clearing, the animal that was supposed to live here wasn't here. Or maybe it was just hiding. You shrug, and peered, and craned your neck around, trying to spot the creature that inhabits this place. You sit down on a convient rock, and stare placidly out at the smale stream that was perpetual in all the clearings. Soon enough, a slight rustle at an oak tree drew your attention. You stare at it, and narrow your eyes. A unicorn stepped out carefully just then. It's hooves made no sound against the soft dry grass. The unicorn wasn't like any you've seen before. It was blue and brown, with purple and blue hooves. It's mane was half chestnut, and half red, and the large unicorn stares back at you with it's wide eyes. It skittles nervously for a while, and smiles apologetically.
"Ebony says I have to greet all strangers," he says flatly-not angrily, and not in a resentful way. It was
more of a shy kind of flat, and he cocks his head. "I've heard about strangers that travel here."
He nods his head, and gazes around you, still nervous.
"It's pleasure to meet you," he says evenly, the english sounding strange to his ears. "I'm Yia'Teyval,
Moon River. A Painted Unicorn."
You nod your head, and he smiles shyly. You ask if you could touch him, and he nods a bit. You walk forward carefully, and stroke his mane.
"You're very handsome," you comment, and he blushes.
"Thanks," he mutters, ducking his head in an adorable coltish way.
You pull back, and the unicorn nods his head in a farewell. He trots away again, and you look around, spotting the path out instantly.
